Outline: Emotional Intelligence
This course aims to explain the essentials of emotional intelligence and how can it be implemented in employees’ social/professional lives. It also focuses on what traits of EI should the employees nurture to grow. The workshop ends with creating an action plan that helps utilize the emotional strengths of individual.
Learning Objectives
At the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:
• Define emotional intelligence and describe how it relates to organizational success
• Describe the seven basic emotional indicators
• List at least three traits of high and low emotional intelligence.
• Describe Goleman’s five components of emotional intelligence
• Conduct an EI self assessment
• Create action plans to increase your personal and social competencies
