Course Overview (2 day workshop)

Hiring right will always be among the most critical tasks for any professional, and one of the most significant contributions he/she can make to the organization. This training highlights the active and essential role line managers play in selecting their staff and in partnering Human Resources in contributing to the organizations overall strategic goals through the right people on one hand, and the strategic partnership role of Recruitment and Selection.

Learning Objectives

At the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:
• Understand their role in the company’s HR workforce planning
• Understand and measure the effectiveness of recruitment sources and methods
• Understand their role as recruiters and brand ambassadors
• Understand the role of competencies in selection
• Conduct and prepare an effective CBI and formulate appropriate questions
• Conduct an objective evaluation of candidates
• Utilize a decision matrix in evaluation and selection
• Link CBI to reference checking and orientation planning based on GAP Analysis
