Outline: Job Analysis and Design

Course Overview (1 day workshop)

Establishing and managing a framework for job analysis, understanding all the roles in an organization and describing them through job profiles or job descriptions is a component of the HR role. This course will provide you with key job analysis tools and provide a detailed familiarization with job evaluation, including an introduction to the most commonly used best-practice approaches.

Learning Objectives

At the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:
• Increase knowledge of interrelationships among HR systems and activities
• Understand the relationship between the Job Structure and the Organization’s Mission, Vision, and Strategic objectives
• Design a job analysis form
• Conduct Job analysis using the best appropriate method
• Design job descriptions and specifications based on job analysis and organizational climate and structure
• Learn Job evaluation methodologies and their practical application
